Joonghun Presents & Performs
Esteemed Faculty Dr. Joonghun Cho’s next months are filled with exciting musical contributions to the Greater Toronto Area, both as soloist, and as the newly-appointed Artistic Director of the Gibson Centre in Alliston, ON.
Having moved to Canada only several months ago after completing his Doctor of Musical Arts in Piano Performance at the University of Michigan, Dr. Joonghun is already making a splash in the Toronto music scene with his immense involvement.
In March and April alone, a total of 8 concerts will be performed and/or presented by this acclaimed artist to audiences across the Greater Toronto Area.
Information regarding the concerts in which Dr. Joonghun will perform, are as follows:
– March 20 at 6:00PM at Immanuel Baptist Church, North York, ON
Shared recital with Xiting Yang, piano, performing Chopin Three Waltzes, Op. 34 and Ballade No. 4
Free admission
– April 2 at 2:30PM at the Gibson Centre, Alliston, ON
Solo recital performing Chopin Three Waltzes, Op. 34, Ballades No. 1 and 4 | Gershwin Rhapsody in Blue (for piano solo) and selections from Songbook
